The Dictators are Crumbling Around The World!

Libya is the current victim of the demand for democracy. However, I believe people around the world are responding in a fearful manner such that the stock market is falling. Of course the concern about oil is where the fear is coming from. If we could stop thinking about ourselves, perhaps the natural flow of democracy would unfold. Our reactions emboldens these types of regimes. Let's forget the oil and support the democratic and Holistic Leadership movement!!!

Why Do You Believe People Allow Dictatorships To Exist?

Friends of Holistic Leadership, why do you believe people allow dictatorships to exist? The Middle East is coming unglued. The people are uprising and demanding democracy.

Although America is a democratic society, we are still governed by a group of people who tell us what we can and cannot do, and if we do what we cannot do according to the laws of the U.S., we will suffer the consequences through the American judicial system. I believe America is the best country in the world. However, I have some concerns about the current "BUDGET" and the potential impact on the middle class and lower class citizens socioeconomic status. I believe that the people need to have a voice in how the American tax dollars are expended.

Holistic Leadership and the Impact on Employee Retention

I have recently completed research for my dissertation on "Leading Holistically and the Impact on Employee Retention". The results speak for themselves. I had the opportunity to survey numerous employees from 14 organizations. Of the numerous employees surveyed, greater than 80% responded they preferred a leader who leads in a holistic manner versus a leader who leads in an autocratic or dictatorial manner. In case you don't know, leading holistically entails leading with the mind, body, and spirit such that the desired outcome is a win-win for all stakeholders. Certainly, if one considers the state of affairs in this country and around the world, the verdict is in, a leadership paradigm shift is of paramount importance. Employees have the power to make a difference. Yes, the economic debacle that America and the world finds itself entrenched in will prevent many employees from speaking up for themselves, but consider the people of Egypt. Many of them had nothing, and they were able to uproot their leader of 30 years. If we as a people want economic parity, then we must stand up and fight for what we believe in.
